#OccupyLekki: You won’t know peace, Mr Macaroni tells those alleging Atiku funded protest
Popular comedian, Debo Adebayo fondly called Mr Macaroni has denied allegations that he collected money from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
He disclosed this in a video on Sunday following his release from detention after he was arrested alongside 39 other #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters for staging a protest against the reopening of the Lekki Toll Gate to demand justice for the victims of the October 20 incident.
“I don’t believe in curses and I don’t like cursing but I want to do this quick one,” he said to his almost one million Twitter followers.
“For anybody that is saying that I collected money form Atiku or whoever it is you’re thinking I collected money from; number one, that’s your business but if I did not collect money from anybody, you won’t know peace for the rest of your life except I collected money from anybody… You won’t know peace, your children will suffer,” he added.
