Stretch marks are so beautiful, says Temi Otedola
Citation actress and billionaire daughter, Remi Otedola, has surprised her fans by saying that stretch marks are so beautiful.
The 24-year-old whose acting debut in Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix movie ‘Citation’ won her the Best Actress (African Collaboration) award in December the disclosure on Monday in a tweet to her 2.4M Followers on Twitter.
Her tweet read, “Stretch marks are so beautiful. how did we let society tell us otherwise??”
Left surprised by her tweet, her followers have left a number of comments in the post that currently has 2,331 retweets, 257 quote tweets and 13.8K likes.
A follower identified as @24_susanna offered Otedola tips to help get rid of her stretch mark as she did to hers. “Where do u av urs? I successfully got rid of mine and I can give u tips that work babe. Depending on the type of stretch marks u av tho.”
According to one follower, @DanielRegha, disagreed that it’s not all stretch marks that are beautiful. he said, “No offense to anyone but the ¤nly stretch marks that look beautiful are natural stretch marks. Pregnancy, puberty & rapid weight gain are the natural causes of stretch marks but a lot of people tend to get stretch marks from creams, lotions & pills. Natural ones fade with time.”
Another follower, @iamOvox, argued that stretch marks are disgusting. “How can u tell me stretch marks are so beautiful? Yes I don’t disgust it, especially on d tummy and breasts of woman that have given birth,” he said, adding that “but don’t tell me to feel attracted to a woman with stretch marks on all her arms and waist, it’s disgusting, go find a solution to it pls.”
I’m guessing you now have it…main reason for advocating for stretch marks!🤣🤣

As peoples used to say stretch marks is not beautiful, that’s how they used to condemn those who get tribal marks too. They tagged us as a fools, morons, as if we are not human. But I can assured you that nothing is beautiful than my tribal marks in the world. My beauty ♥️😍❣️ pic.twitter.com/TxeQ3h4anr
