200m Nigerians live in fear because of Aso Rock, bush herdsmen – Reno Omokri
Former presidential aide and rights activist, Reno Omokri, has taken a jibe at the current landlord of Aso Rock, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), and his government.
In a recent tweet on his verified Twitter handed on Sunday, Omokri, revealed the reasons 200million Nigerians live in fear, pointing fingers to the current government.
Omokri alleged that the reasons Nigerians live in fear are because they fall victim to two separate but unified assailants, the bush herdsmen and the Aso Rock herdsmen.
According to Omokri, both herdsmen work as a team to victimised Nigerians, as such, when you criticise Buhari who lives in the Aso Rock, the bush herdsmen (identities unknown) run to his defence.
His tweet read: “200 million Nigerians live in fear because if you don’t fall victim to bush herdsmen, you will fall victim to herdsmen in Aso Rock. They work as a team. You criticise #Buhari, Bush herdsmen defend him. You criticise Bush herdsmen, and Buhari defends them! Who will rescue Nigeria?”
Omokri is an outspoken critic of the Buhari government over perceived incompetence, although gives commendation to the president when the need arises. He was one of those who commended the president for the recent replacement of his service chiefs.
The tweet has attracted numerous responses from followers who mostly agree with his opinion. See some in the link below:
