14-year-old charged with murder of boy, 12
Following the murder of 12-year-old Roberts Buncis, Police have charged a 14-year-old teenager.
Roberts Buncis’ body was found in Lincolnshire on Sunday, December 13.
Roberts Buncis’ body was discovered on a patch of common land behind Alcorn Green in the village of Fishtoft at about 10.22 am, according to Metro UK.
The 14-year-old suspect has since been arrested and is expected to appear at court today, while a man, 19, who was arrested on Sunday also remains in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Martyn Parker said: ‘This is a devastating incident in which a young boy has lost his life. The impact will no doubt be felt greatly in the community and beyond.
“This type of incident is not what we would expect to see within our communities. We are working with those affected to keep them informed and offer our support.
“I want to reassure the public that we will do all in our power to meticulously investigate the circumstances of this young boy’s death and we would urge anyone who has any information that could support this investigation to get in touch.”
Police are still appealing for anyone with external-facing CCTV covering the junction of Freiston Road and Woodthorpe Avenue to get in touch.
They are also looking for footage Wing Drive and Alcorn Green between 8 pm on December 11 and 10 am on December 12.
