#EndSARS: Protesters did not pull jail break, burn police station in Benin – Reno Omokri
A former presidential aide and activist, Reno Omokri has said that the prison break in Benin and the burning of the police station in the state was not done by #EndSARS protesters.
Recall that WuzupNigeria reported earlier that the popular Benin Prison known as White House was infiltrated, allowing the escapes of prisoners. The police station was also set ablaze.
Reacting to the incident, Omokri said that the act was carried out by thugs who could have been agent provocateurs and not the #EndSARS protesters.
Speaking further on his official Twitter handle, Omokri said that warmed Nigerians to expect more provocateurs from the government.
#EndSARS protesters did not pull off the jailbreak in Benin or burn the police stations. Those were thugs. For all we know, they could have been agent provocateurs. The government has used provocateurs in Lagos and Abuja. It may not be the last time. This is a peaceful movement!
