JUST IN: Bandits abduct 20 in Niger village
No fewer than 20 persons have been kidnapped by armed bandits in an attack on a community in Shiroro local government area of Niger state.
This is coming hours after an evening of terror in Kagara, the headquarters of Rafi local government area of Niger state.
It was gathered that the bandits invaded Adagbi village in Galkogo district in Shiroro at about 8 am on Thursday.
As at the time of filing this report, no death casualty has been confirmed.
The bandits were said to have stormed the village on motorcycles, shooting into the air.
Though the villagers fled, it was learnt many of them, mostly women were abducted.
