The decomposing corpse of a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka was found by her neighbours four days after she died.
An eyewitness, Edozdrive said the deceased’s lodge mates began wondering where she might be after they noticed that her room’s door had huge houseflies struggling to get in, and an occasional smell of decaying body.
With the combined effort of the residents in the area, the door was broken down to uncover the mystery of her absence and what exactly brought the flies and oozing smell. Her decomposing body was found inside.
The cause of her death is however yet to be ascertained.
