The Emir of Kano, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II was on Wednesday photographed carrying a new born baby in his hands at an undisclosed hospital in the metropolis.
This was brought to the fore in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of Government House Kano by one Mohammed Grema Adamu.
Sanusi who was born into the Fulani Torodbe (Sullubawa) clan of Kano on July 31, 1961, was crowned the Emir of Kano on June 8, 2014, succeeding his late grand uncle Dr Ado Bayero (who died on Friday 6 June 2014).
It is being speculated that the respected traditional ruler just welcomed a new family member to his large family.
