If your brother remains generous to your family after marriage, thank his wife – Relationship coach Ajero Morgan
Popular life coach and relationship counselor, Ajero Morgan, has advised social media users to give accolades to their brother’s wife if the man remains generous to them after getting married.
It is widely believed that many men pick up a new attitude towards their friends and family members once they get married.
This change of attitude, which is often financially-related, is mostly blamed on the wife, who may not even be aware of the change.
This trend has been identified as one of the major causes of crisis between the family of the husband and his wife.
Well, Morgan has advised that in a case where the man decides to continue being who he was before marriage, the wife and not just the husband deserves to be appreciated by the family.
He went on to give reasons for his assertion.
In a series of tweets via his Twitter handle, he wrote:
“If after marriage, your BROTHER is still being generous toward your family, don’t always thank him alone. THANK & APPRECIATE his wife also.
“Men who respect their wives LISTEN to them. So, behind your brother’s benevolence is the support of his wife. Don’t take it for granted.
“This post will kick certain fellas… Fellas who when they hear the saying, “behind every successful man there’s a woman”, they’ll say, OK, so it means that, “behind every unsuccessful man there’s a woman”…Hian! This INNOCENT post is not meant to answer both questions…Biko!
“One of the ideas I intended for this post to also pass on is the fact that it’s safer to carry your spouse along in making significant life’s decisions…especially financial decisions. Doesn’t means for every penny you give to your people, you must tell your spouse.“

Morgan added:
“I’ve learnt from over 16 years of marriage and from many years of counseling couples that behind most “decisions” of men who love & respect their wives you’ll find some elements of their wives’ “wisdom”.”
Some social media have camped in the comment section of Morgan’s tweet to corroborate his post, while others are expressing disagreement.
Corroborating Morgan’s tweets, a Twitter user @Noncy13 wrote:
Yea u r right. My parent in-laws thank me alot for whatever their son does for them. Most times i wonder why they need to thank me. ?

Another user tweeted:
My father in law did this a lot. Sometimes, he’ll call after two weeks saying thank you again. It made me do more for him. He was my friend and loved me like his own. To him, my name was ‘sweetheart’ always. He passed away last year and I miss him a lot??

Even when a man decides not to give to his family, a good wife can make him change his mind. I have seen such scenarios around. So please read between the line and get the Gist

Suleiman Opeyemi disagreed and wrote:
My wife has got nothing to do with what I give to my family…… It’s never Our decision, it’s MY decision.
It still doesn’t mean I don’t respect her.

The Wife is a such a Gem! When I got my place, it was difficult for me to face my Brother’s wife about it. She IS so caring and amazing to a fault.

Not in all cases o. Some wives frown at their husband helping people . Telling/thanking her could just end everything . It better to confirm from the husband himself first .

Where was this wife when the parents and siblings were labouring, starving themselves and sacrificing to see the so called husband through different life stages before she met the man?
Abeg let us leave this narrative because it brings back memories.

You are so right. My hubby’s people are guilty of this. Even when it’s so obvious that I’m the 1 that made it happen, they will rather thank him than me. Then if he refuses to give, they will blame me. Can never win with them. I have just learnt to ignore all of them Sha.

That a man or woman is good to someone out there doesn’t necessarily mean the spouse is in support of it.
However, you thank them both just to make things “right”.— Eden_Johnson (@_EdenJohnson) 14 January 2020
And pls remind them that when he starts to hold back, its NOT the wives fault, this man does whatever he wants! Thank you
