EPL: Antonio Conte’s sacking cost Chelsea £26.6m
Chelsea paid out more than £26 million for sacking their former manager Antonio Conte in 2018.
According to Sky Sports, the Premier League club’s latest accounts show they paid a total of £26.6 million in compensation to Conte and his backroom staff and legal costs.
Conte was sacked by Chelsea in July 2018 after two years in charge and was later replaced by Maurizio Sarri.
