Residents of Kogi State in North Central Nigeria trooped out on Saturday morning to take part in the ongoing governorship election in the state.
The incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Yahaya Bello is slugging it out with the candidate of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Musa Wada.
Reports coming out of the state indicate that the election has been relatively peaceful, except for some pockets of ballot box snatching reported in two locations.
