Armed robbers flee, abandon car after hearing gunshots at robbery scene [Video]
A video of some suspected armed robbers fleeing from the scene where they attempted to rob a motorist is presently making the round on the internet.
The video was captured by a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera installed on the street.
A Kenyan politician, Simba Guleid, shared the video via his Twitter handle
Guleid captioned:
“A driver used his car horn that sounded like gun shots to scare away potential robbers. A good deterrent.”
In the footage which has since gone viral on social media, the men numbering about four drove into the street and blocked a coming vehicle with their car.
The street looks deserted and nobody was sighted on the street except cars parked by the roadside, while a dog could also be heard barking in the background.
After blocking the car, two of the suspected robbers in the car immediately alighted and pointed a gun at the driver in the other vehicle.

Suddenly sounds of gunshots suspected to have emanated from the car were heard on the street, this forced the robbers to take to their heels abandoning their car, while their victim also reversed his car and drove off.
It could not be ascertained where the gunshots came from, while Guleid claimed it is the car horn, the footage seems to prove otherwise as signs of shots were seen on the street.
