Osinbajo visits slain corper Precious Owolabi’s family [Video & photos]
Vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, paid a condolence visit to the family of Precious Owolabi, a National Youth Service Corps member who died from a gunshot wound sustained while covering the clash between the police and Islamic Movement in Nigeria, July 22, 2019.
The Vice president in the company of governor El Rufai of Kaduna State said: “nothing will ever compare with the pain of losing a child.”
In a statement on the Vice President’s Twitter handle, Osinabjo said “We bless the name of the Lord for the life of Precious. We cannot even purport to imagine the enormity of this loss to the family, but we’re confident that the Almighty God will comfort the family & bring back joy & peace to all members of the family in Jesus name…”

Recall that Owolabi, 21, who was until his death, an NYSC member with Channels TV. The promising journalist was giving a befitting burial by the management of NYSC at the Wusasa cemetery, Zaria last week.
