A video showing the Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, teaching his guests how to disarm an assailant is one of the queerest things making the round on the internet.
In the clip, the 80-year-old revered Monarch showed that he hasn’t lost his fitness nor his agility as he displayed some sleek “taekwondo” moves for his surprised guests.
Alaafin could be heard saying, “you just jump on him then gboah” as he flung his leg while bouncing on his feet.
His guests who were apparently amused by the Alaafin’s skills had no choice than to applaud him with enthusiasm for giving them a practical example.
WuzupNaija notes that Alaafin’s junior wives had been birthing twins which is further proof of his fitness.

The Monarch is married to Ayaba Abibat Adeyemi, his senior wife but attends most events with her or one of the twelve junior wives that he’s also married to.
He is a lover of boxing, as he was a boxer before ascending the throne of his Fathers.
