A young man, simply identified as Ese, has gotten one of his eyes permanently damaged after he was attacked by his girlfriend during an argument.

WuzupNaija gathered that Chiwendu Nwachukwu, a student of College of Education Mosogar, Sapele, Delta State, bathed her boyfriend with hot water during the misunderstanding at their Janice hostel.

She was said to have fled the scene and is presently in hiding.

Ese was reportedly rushed to the general hospital where it was confirmed that one of his eyes was badly damaged.

Sources claimed that her parents have been arrested pending when she will turn herself in.

This incident comes a few hours after it was reported that a jealous girlfriend also bathed her boyfriend with a bowl of hot water over suspicion that he was cheating on her. It was gathered that the incident happened last week at Upatabo community, in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Social media user, one Onyeka Simeon, who shared the story on Facebook, said the lady, identified as Uluma became jealous after suspecting that her boyfriend Atago Endurance was having an affair with another lady.

She reportedly poured hot water on Endurance as a result of her suspicion, and it left him badly scalded.
