A 99-year-old woman, Minerva Turpin, early Tuesday morning beat Democratic VP candidate, Senator Tim Kaine to cast her vote at a polling station in Virginia.
Sen. Kaine made this known on his Instagram account moments ago, writing, “I wanted to be the first person at my polling place, but 99-year-old Minerva Turpin beat me to it. Looks like I’m going to have to get used to being number two!”
