Rufus Giwa Polytechnic students hospitalised after being chased by SARS

The danger men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad pose to citizens was once again brought to the fore after two Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo students were chased to near death by the operatives.

The SARS operatives had chased Seun Ogunmola and Deborah Iyanuoluwa, both Accounting students, after assuming they were fraudsters.

During the chase, Ogunmola who was driving the car the students were in lost control of the car and crashed it.

However, instead of helping them the officers abandoned them and fled.

They were later rescued by some passersby, who rushed them to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo.

It was learnt that the car was borrowed by Ogunmola from his lodge’s president who is also a student of the Polytechnic.
