Popular Nigerian comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, widely known as DeeOne, has clinched the BOOT Party’s ticket to contest for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I in the 2027 general election.
DeeOne secured the party’s nomination after emerging victorious in the constituency’s primary election, positioning him as the BOOT Party candidate for the legislative seat.
Reacting to his victory, the reality TV star expressed gratitude to the party leadership and members for their confidence in him.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, he pledged his dedication to serving the people of the constituency if elected.
He wrote: “I want to thank my party, BOOT party for the confidence in voting for me to emerge the winner of the primary election for Ibeju lekki constituency 1.
“To Ibeju lekki constituency 1, come 2027 by the grace of God, I will be your worker and not your boss”, he said.
