100 GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL! D’banj ready to perform after son’s death

Music star and renowned entertainer, Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, is ready to make his comeback into the entertainment industry after weeks of mourning the death of his one-year-old son, Daniel the third.

In a new post on his Instagram page, D’banj hinted that he might be performing at the Global Citizen Festival in December. He shared the poster for the event with the caption: “It is on us to end poverty.”

The “Kokomaster” as he fondly called has been totally inactive on all his social media platforms since the news of the unfortunate incident circulated on the internet in June.

Earlier this week it had been announced that the singer has been scheduled to perform alongside top international and Nigerian artistes like Beyonce, Jay-Z, Usher, Ed Sheeran, Casper Nyovest, Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Tiwa Savage and some others at the Mandela 100 Global Citizen Festival.

The festival is in honour of the former South African President, late Nelson Mandela, aims to celebrate the legacy of Mandela with the aim of ending extreme poverty by 2030.

Meanwhile, many of his fans who had been curious to know if he would be performing at the event took to his Instagram page to encourage him to praise his courage and prayed that God bless his family with more children.
