10 killed in Gombe fuel tanker explosion [Photos]
At least 10 people have reportedly died and several vehicles burnt on Saturday afternoon when a petroleum tanker exploded in Gombe metropolis.
According to eyewitness account, the tanker carrying petrol collided with another truck carrying bottle water along Gombe southern bypass.
Daily Trust reports that over 10 bodies burnt beyond recognition were evacuated from the scene by personnel of the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
