Gunmen kill ex-Enugu High Court Judge, Stanley Nnaji [VIDEO]
A former judge of the Enugu State High Court, Justice Stanley Nnaji, has been reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen on Sunday night.
Nnaji’s death comes less than 24-hours after the killing of Ahmed Gulak, an All Progressives Congress chieftain and former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan in Imo State by gunmen.
The ex-high court judge was intercepted by his assailants and dragged out of his Mercedes Benz Jeep before he was killed beside the Enugu Diagnostics Centre by Ebeano Tunnel, according to Vanguard,
Reports revealed that the yet-to-be-identified gunmen made away with the former judge’s car after killing him.
The State’s Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, has confirmed the killing and ordered a full-scale manhunt for the assailants.
Nnaji’s corpse has since been deposited at the mortuary after he was confirmed dead by doctors in a hospital he was rushed to following the shooting, according to the spokesperson of the Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe.
