Zlatan Ibrahimovic showed off his acrobatic side with a bicycle kick but the Los Angeles Galaxy went down 2-1 to the New England Revolution.
A long throw into the box was knocked to the 37-year-old by Joe Corona. The Swede took a couple of touches before finding the net with a spectacular strike.
The 84th-minute goal, Ibrahimovic 11th of the season, was too late as New England held on to remain undefeated in four games.
New England goals came through strikes from Cristian Penilla and Teal Bunbury.
Penilla beat Galaxy goalkeeper David Bingham with a powerful strike just before half-time, and Bunbury tucked away the second on the hour-mark.
It meant Ibrahimovic’s amazing goal was not enough for Galaxy, who were left in second in the Western Conference, while New England are 11th in the east.
