Zimbabwe football legend, Butler Masango, dies
Football lovers have joined family, friends and well-wishers to mourn the passing of Zimbabwe legend, Butler Masango.
Masango, who was fondly referred to as Coach Butler until his death, was based in South Africa as the technical director and Soccer Scout at Talent Focus Elite Coaching in Johannesburg.
Although details of his mysterious death are not known at the time of this report, tributes have started to pour in for the late footballer.
Masango until his death was involved in developing young soccer players while he commits his spare time to mentoring children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Coach Butler was reported to have been diagnosed with heart failure earlier in the year, an issue that has taken a toll on his revenue generation according to hot919.co.za.
The same publication reported that he was feeling better but then contracted coronavirus.
It is assumed that he probably battled the illness, coronavirus, until his death.
Zororo Phumulani Funeral Plan (@zororophumulani) paid tribute and alerted many of Coach Butler’s death.
