Veteran highlife singer, Bright Chimezie, fondly called “the Duke of African Music” has announced the death of his mother, Nneoma Ihedinma Leticia Ironmuoh.
The 61-year-old Zigima Sound exponent made the announcement in a social media post on Tuesday.
According to the Abia State-born musician, Nneoma died on Tuesday at the age of 95.
He said, “Today with immense sadness in my heart, I regret to announce the demise of my lovely mother, Nneoma Ihedinma Leticia Ironmuoh.
“My beautiful ever-smiling and joyous mother left this earth to the great beyond on the 22nd of February, 2022 at the ripe age of 95.
