Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode, popularly called Toyo Baby, has shared how she almost got initiated into witchcraft after clicking a suspicious link while watching a video on YouTube.

She warned people to be careful of the kind of content they watch online.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, Olayode said she was watching a cinema on YouTube when an advert popped up asking viewers if they had ever broken a bone or experienced certain things before clicking the link. Out of curiosity, she clicked and immediately felt an uneasy spiritual presence.

“What I saw made me say, oh my God, what am I doing here? Then I realised the enemy is so subtle and this is how people get initiated into witchcraft and all sorts of things,” she said.

The actress who is also a faith advocate added that witchcraft now disguises itself through entertainment, fun, or enlightenment. She urged her followers to be careful of media that ask about past lives, saying such questions prey on people’s spiritual restlessness.

“There is this unrest in the minds of man. The devil is so strategic,” she said. Olayode warned that people can unconsciously get initiated through movies, music, books, or even by following friends to witch-themed places.

She said many may start noticing nightmares, strange presences in their rooms, hearing voices, or feeling fear and anxiety after such exposures. She also cautioned against burning incense to clear bad energy, calling it a trap.

Olayode ended by encouraging people to be spiritually watchful and affirmed her belief that Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
