JUST IN: Youths block Abuja-Kaduna highway to protest bandits’ attack
Aggrieved youths have cordoned vehicular movements at the Suleja end of the popular Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.
The youths, mostly from villages adjoining the highway, were to have carried out the demonstration to protest against incessant attacks by bandits and kidnappers on their communities.
They were said to have been angered by a fresh attack in the area during which at least 12 people were abducted n Gauraka town on Monday.
The PUNCH had reported a similar attack in Kwakwashi community last week where one person was killed and 13 residents were kidnapped.
