The former boyfriend of Nollywood actress Angela Okorie, popularly known as Oil Money, has responded to recent accusations made by the actress on social media, reigniting drama surrounding their turbulent past relationship.
Okorie had previously alleged that Oil Money was unfaithful during their time together, claiming he had been involved with some of her colleagues in the Nollywood industry. In a private conversation with Nigerian critic Radiogad—later shared on Instagram—Oil Money denied the claims and launched a series of counter-accusations against the actress.
“I was just doing her favours, but she started taking the piss and being ungrateful,” he said.
He also alleged that Okorie had been romantically involved with several other men and often pleaded with him to rekindle their relationship. “She doesn’t bring anything to the table. I block her, and she begs to come back. Just last week she was pleading to come see me in London, and I said no.”
In the same conversation, Oil Money highlighted their age difference and criticized Okorie’s behavior. “She’ll be 50 this year but acts like she’s 22. Even my 20-year-old baby mama is more mature than her. I’m 43. That’s a seven-year gap. She’s chatting nonsense online for pity and attention.”
He further claimed that his family disapproved of Okorie due to concerns about her behavior and the people she associated with. “She brings different men to the house and claims they’re fans or workers. I can’t risk that. A lot of my family members don’t like her.”
The public spat between the former couple has attracted widespread attention on social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the controversial exchange.
