The winner of the Big Brother Naija 2018 reality show, Miracle Ikechukwu, has come under criticisms for not prostrating before the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.

Trouble started when Miracle shared a video of him greeting the Ooni on his Instagram page with obvious intentions to delight his fans.

Like Davido, the BBNaija winner intended to show off to his fans but was backlashed for not showing enough respect to one of the most revered monarchs in Nigeria.

Many lambasted him and used derogatory terms to describe him. Some also defended him saying that he is not a Yoruba man hence he is not used to prostrating as expected of the Yoruba’s.

Some IG users accused Miracle of being proud asserting that he is not as rich or famous as music star, Davido, who displayed so much respect during his visit to the Ooni of Ife some weeks back.

The ambassador of education for Imo State captioned the video, “Ọọ̀ni of Ilè-Ifẹ̀ ?.”
