Popular activist and entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has taken to Twitter to lambaste the All Progressives Congress-ruling Federal Government, describing them as useless, incompetent, vagabonds in power.

Charly Boy, who is the self-acclaimed “President of all frustrated Nigerians”, on Tuesday alleged that the government sent troops to go and kill the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, when he was agitating for Biafra, but Boko Haram terrorists who are killing innocent Nigerians are being offered money and amnesty programme.

The activist further stated that while Fulani herdsmen are busy killing Nigerians, the government requested for lands to build cattle ranches for them to feed their cattle.

He described the incumbent government as useless, incompetent, vagabonds in power and noted that none of them will die well.

Charly Boy wrote in pidgin English:

“When Nnamdi Kanu dey talk Biafra, dem send phytons to go try killam. Boko Haram dey terrorise dem dey dash dem money and amnesty. Herdsmen dey Kill my people, dem say give dem ur land so der cows can eat. See useless, incompetent, vagabonds in power. None of una go die better.”

The issues raised by Charly Boy, who is also the leader of a civil society organization, #OurMumuDonDo, are in reaction to the recent happenings under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

Recall that on November 3, 2017, him and his group stormed the office of the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami to formally submit a protest letter to demand executive action on corruption allegations leveled against some government officials.

The #OurMumuDonDo had earlier embarked on two weeks sit out protest tagged #BuhariActOrQuit.

It was reported on September 14, 2017, that Nigerian Army breached the family home of Kanu in Umuahia, Abia State, and ever since the IPOB leader has neither been seen nor heard from.

The Federal Government, in a bid to nib the menace in the bud, suggested the building of cattle ranches, but some herdsmen vowed not to accept cattle ranching because the country’s geographical location was not suitable for it.

According to the herders, the anti-open grazing laws being established by state governments would die a natural death.

On March 23, 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari while playing host to the released 101 Dapchi girls at the State House hinted on plans to grant Amnesty to repentant Boko Haram members in a bid to curb insecurity in the country.

Meanwhile, before the president’s meeting with the freed girls, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed as well as Minister of Defense, Mansur Dan-Ali in a press briefing said no ransom was paid to terrorists to secure the freedom of the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram, but later findings by SaharaReporters revealed that a handsome ransom of five million euros was paid to the terrorist group to secure the release of the girls on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
