Zambia’s incumbent President Edgar Lungu was on Monday, August 15, 2016, declared the winner of a closely fought presidential election in the African nation.

According to the Electoral Commission of Zambia, Lungu, leader of the Patriotic Front (PF), won 50.35 percent of Thursday’s vote, against 47.67 percent by his main opponent Hakainde Hichilema of the United Party for National Development (UPND).

Immediately after the results of the election was announced, supporters of the incumbent President celebrated the victory in the country’s capital Lusaka.

The celebration took different ways such as going unclad in pubic and being driven in tippers/caterpillars as depicted in the pictures below:
