Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has felicitated his brother, Femi Kuti, describing him as a king and protector as the legendary trumpeter turns 59.

Although Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti popularly known as Femi Kuti displayed nothing on his Instagram page to mark the special day, his sibling, Seun, however gave him a shoutout in a video that he shared on his social media account.

Femi is the eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and a grandchild of political campaigner, women’s rights activist and traditional aristocrat Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti.

In celebrating him, Seun said: “Today is the birthday of OUR KING AND PROTECTOR, THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS. THE KUTI FAMILYS OWN FATHER ABRAHAM. WE LOVE U @femiakuti May your wisdom and fortitude continue to lead our family to greater heights. #getallthesaxes ARARARARARARARARARA!!!”
