Xenophobia: Senate to send delegation to South Africa

The Nigerian Senate has resolved to send a high-powered delegation to South Africa to register its displeasure with the incessant attacks on Nigerians in the country. The Senate made the resolution known on Tuesday via its twitter handle. The lawmakers lamented the attacks pointing out that Nigerians contributed immensely to the liberation of South Africa from clutches of apartheid. The Senate thus resolved to lead a delegation of Nigerian Legislators to the South African parliament to address the ugly trend and reconsider diplomatic ties with the country if the attacks continue.
