Wydad’ll defeat Eyimba, says club captain

The captain of Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco, Yahya Jabrane, has declared that his team came to Nigeria to defeat Enyimba.

The Moroccan club will face the Nigerian champions in the quarter-final of the African Football League.

Jabrane said that his team is prepared for the challenge against the former African champions.

He said, “We are happy and proud to be the only Moroccan team here. We are ready for the game here in Nigeria and in Casablanca and we will do everything to win.

“It’s a tough league, all teams are good and we are ready to give our best. We have the ability to get a good result against Enyimba.”

The match will take place today at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, and will start at 6pm Nigeria time. The second leg of the encounter will be played on Wednesday, 25th October in Morocco.
