WWE superstar, Roman Reigns, has come under criticism following his appearance at UFC Freedom 250, an event held on the South Lawn of the White House.

The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion’s attendance at the event, which was promoted heavily by TKO on social media and also received a reaction from Conor McGregor, has sparked debate among wrestling personalities and fans.

Veteran wrestling figure Jim Cornette shared his thoughts on the matter during an episode of his “Drive-Thru” podcast, where he delivered a harsh critique of Reigns’ involvement.

Cornette suggested that Reigns is willing to appear at any major platform if the opportunity presents itself.

He said,

“He’ll go to Saudi Arabia. He’ll go to the White House. He’ll go wherever they’ll pay him. He’s just an attention wh-re. He’s a big enough star he could have said no f***ing way to the White House. So, we now know he’s one of them and what he’s all about. Boring and questionable values.”

The comments place Reigns among a growing number of wrestling figures who have questioned his decision to attend the UFC-related event.

Earlier, actor and wrestler Paul Walter Hauser also criticized the appearance, questioning the choice and raising concerns about the Tribal Chief’s connection with WWE.
