Reports indicate that WWE experienced internal frustration this week after the full episode of Friday Night SmackDown reportedly surfaced online ahead of its scheduled broadcast.
According to WrestlePurists on X, the leakage has caused what it termed as “internal unhappiness” in the entertainment business.
“There was internal unhappiness within WWE this week as the entire episode of tonight’s SmackDown leaked online in different places,” it stated.
The June 26, 2026 edition of SmackDown had been recorded three days earlier, on June 23, at the O2 Arena in London.
Because the show was taped in advance, spoilers and match results circulated online well before the episode aired, allowing fans to learn about the show’s events ahead of the official television broadcast.
