Contrary to earlier reports that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has left Nigeria without meeting President Muhammadu Buhari, photos emerged on the internet moments ago showing the 7th richest person in the world taking selfies with the Nigerian president in Abuja.
WuzupNaija learnt that Mr. Zuckerberg returned to Nigeria for the meeting with Buhari on Friday after he had left Nigeria to Kenya on Thursday.
The meeting was held behind closed door inside the President’s office in Aso Rock.
According to Femi Adesina, the Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Zuckerberg presented a Facebook drone prototype to Buhari.
It was gathered that after the meeting, Zuckerberg alongside Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo attended a programme inside the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.

Meanwhile, since the news broke, many Nigerians have commented about Zuckerberg’s visit to Aso Rock. While some say it was a sign of respect for Mr President, others feel it was an after thought move by the Facebook CEO.
