Popular South African media personality, Somizi has lent his voice to the widespread violence South Africa which women are subjected to.

In an Instagram post Somizi shared, he stated that women in South Africa are safer with wild animals than at home or in the streets.

He wrote;

“A woman in South Africa is safer in the Kruger among Lions and snakes than at home or in the streets.
