A woman, Vatima, has shared why she chose to stay with her boyfriend, Justin, despite discovering that he cheated on her with at least 15 women, including during her pregnancy.
Speaking on The Karamo Show, a popular US talk show hosted by Karamo Brown, Vatima said she suspected Justin was still being unfaithful, even though he now claimed he wanted to settle down and get married.
“I’ve probably chased and confronted about 10 to 15 women in the past six years,” she said while the audience booed loudly.
Vatima and Justin met on Facebook six years ago, and their relationship moved quickly. After two months, they moved in together, and she soon became pregnant. However, she said that was when everything changed.
“He started treating me differently. He started calling me names like ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’ and staying out all night,” she said.
Vatima explained that she first found out about the cheating when she went through Justin’s phone and saw texts from a woman he was planning to sleep with. He denied it and blamed his cousin for using his phone.
But that was not all.
“I found six videos of him and a girl in a motel. He thought he deleted them, but I went to the trash folder,” she revealed.
When Karamo brought Justin onstage to explain himself, he admitted he had been unfaithful many times.
“In the beginning, things were happening so fast, I couldn’t believe it was real,” Justin said.
He explained that he had just gotten out of prison when they met and had “trust issues with women.”
“She’s a great woman. She deserves more than I can give her,” he admitted.
Karamo’s producers then uncovered 91 secret messages Justin had sent to other women, including a text asking for a DNA test for another child. He had also spent four days in a Hilton hotel, raising further suspicions.
At the end of the show, Karamo advised Vatima to leave Justin and focus on her self-esteem.
“This situation has made me depressed. Some days, I don’t even want to get out of bed,” Vatima said tearfully.
After seeing all the evidence, she agreed to end the relationship and focus on herself.
