Reuben Abati, one of the special advisers to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has been arrested over his role in the #DasukiGate money laundering scandal.
According to reports, the columnist who recently wrote that there were demons inside the Aso Rock Villa which makes people behave in abnormal ways, was nabbed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over his alleged involvement in the buck-passing game with the former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki.
He will spend a minimum of one night in custody of the anti-graft agency as they seek to unravel totally, the mystery behind the excessive money laundering which was prevalent during the administration of the immediate past president of Nigeria.
Nigerians, in their usual manner, have taken to the social media to express themselves over the recent arrest, with some saying that the demons in Aso Rock have succeeded in ‘getting’ the former president’s ex-spokesperson, hence the arrest.
