Grammy Award winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 2021 African Music Awards.
Wizkid was named the Best African Artiste of the year at the event which was held on Sunday night at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
He grabbed three awards.
The biggest winner, however, was Malian singer, Iba One, who won four awards including; Album of the Year, African Male Artiste in Inspirational Music, Best Song Writer, and Best Male Artiste from Western Africa.
