Nigerian singer and songwriter, Niniola, has bagged her first BET nomination in the viewer’s choice, best international act category.
The “Maradona” crooner’s nomination was announced on Tuesday by BET Africa on their official Twitter page.
“Congrats to @OfficialNiniola on her nomination for #BETAwards2018 Viewer’s Choice “Best International Act,” BET Africa tweeted.
Niniola acknowledged the tweet and replied,
“Thank you so much Guys this is the Best News.
“Getting Nominated is a Very Very Good feeling. Winning will always be Greater. Thank you for hoping to bring this Home…NAIJA ALL THE WAY.”
The 31-year-old singer also took to her Instagram page to ask her fans and friends to please vote for her. She wrote.
“I honestly can’t hide my excitement, Congrats to us all.
“Please, guys I really would love to win this… Baby Girl NINI just got nominated for #BETAwards2018 Viewer’s Choice “Best International Act”.
“To vote for Ninola and help her win, comment with #IPICKNINIOLA18 on our Instagram page @bet_intl! The BET Awards 2018.”
Other nominated artistes are Kwesi Arthur (Ghana), Sjava (South Africa), Mc Soffia (Brazil), Nailah Blackman (Trinidad and Tobago), Not3S (UK), Prince Waly (France), Sik-k (South Korea), TakeAMic (France), and IAMDDB (UK).
