Ex-Arsenal star, Jack Wilshere, is leaving Emirate’s training ground after signing a deal to join Danish side, AGF Aarhus.

AGF are currently sitting in seventh position in the Danish Superliga table with just four games remaining.

UK Metro reported that the 30-year-old midfield maestro has been without a club since he was released by Bournemouth nine months ago.

After failing to secure a new club before the start of the season, the diminutive player was allowed to return to Arsenal in October to train with the team at London Colney.

Although Mikel Arteta ruled out a temporary deal to re-sign him, Wilshere finally hit fortune with the news of his switch to the Danish Superliga.

The former Arsenal No. 10 has signed a contract until the end of the season with AGF Aarhus and will also don the club’s No.10 shirt.

Speaking with the media after completing his move, Wilshere said: ‘Since I started training with Arsenal, I have never hidden the fact that it was to be ready for 2022 and for a new club.

‘Now the right club is here, and it will be an exciting new challenge for me.
