Will Smith admits being jealous of Tupac and wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s relationship
American actor and rapper, Will Smith shared that he was jealous of Tupac and Jada Pinkett‘s relationship in a new interview with The Breakfast Club.
While promoting his upcoming film Bad Boys for Life alongside co-star Martin Lawrence, Smith was asked by Charlamagne Tha God if he was ever jealous of the love his wife had for Tupac.
“Oh, f**k yeah,” Smith replied. “That was a big regret for me too because I could never open up to interact with Pac.”
“She just loved him. He was the image of perfection but she was with the Fresh Prince,” he continued. “Even we were in the room a couple times, I couldn’t speak to him. And he wasn’t going to speak to me if I wasn’t going to speak to him.”
“That was a huge regret of mine,” Smith added. “I couldn’t handle it, you know? I was the soft rapper from Philly and he was Pac. I was deeply insecure and wasn’t man enough to handle that relationship.”
