Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has expressed his belief that Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, would excel if he pursued a career in music.
The hip-hop star made this comment in a tweet over the weekend, highlighting the unique quality of Wike’s vocal tone.
“I wish say Wike dey do music. I hear something in his vocals. I’m not joking,” Odumodublvck wrote on his X handle.
Wike, who served as Governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023, is known for performing regularly with a live band.
Since his appointment as FCT Minister, he relocated the band to Abuja, where they continue to perform at official functions.
At a recent event commissioning the collector road linking Mabushi to the Judges’ Quarters in Katampe, Wike pledged to increase the salaries of the band members.
The band has gained popularity for catchy songs that often go viral, including As E Dey Sweet Us, Agreement Is Agreement, and Biggie Man.
