A woman identified as Aisha Maiyaki is presently at large after her alleged attempt to stab her husband, Yahaya Maiyaki, to death on Friday failed in Kaduna state.
Aisha was said to have stabbed her husband twice in the stomach before fleeing, leaving the man in pains before sympathisers rushed him to the hospital to save his life.
Yahaya, however, survived the attack as he is presently receiving treatment at the hospital.
According to Ahmed Maiyaki, the younger brother of the victim and spokesperson to the former governor of Kaduna state, the incident happened in the early hours of Friday.
