‘If I can’t marry her, no one else will’ were the last words of a Kenyan man who stabbed his wife and committed suicide afterwards.
Daniel Mwangi is said to have stabbed his 25-year-old wife Jacinta Nyambura multiple times before hanging himself in the room he had locked.
According to reports, the two engaged in very heated arguments before neigbours started hearing the woman scream.
A Neighbour who spoke to the press said that the house was locked but they managed to break in and were perplexed hanging from the ceiling and the woman in a pool of blood.
He said, ” I don’t know exactly what happened, but we thought it was the usual domestic squabble mostly experienced among youthful people. We are shaken by the unfortunate turn of events.
“The woman taught at a private school in Molo.”
The Police, however, found a suicide note in their apartment where he accused his wife of extra-marital affair.
it reads in part, “I love her so much she cannot date another man while I’m still alive. It is so stupid of me to do this (commit murder, suicide), but why should I live?”
