Why President Buhari did not die as prophesied – Prophet Akinbodunse

Published

Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse, the cleric who said President Muhammadu Buhari will die should he seek re-election, has explained the reason his prophesy did not come to pass.

WuzupNaija reports that Buhari did not only contest for re-election, but he also defeated his closest rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] and defiled the odds to remain alive.

Explaining why his prophesy was not fulfilled, Prophet Akinbodunse claimed the prayers of the righteous saved the president.

He said,

“The Prayer Of Nigeria saved Mr President, according to Isaiah 38 ‘’ Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord.

“Remember Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.

And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah: “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life’’

The men of God in Nigeria conducted a 40 days fasting and prayer for President Buhari which I participated in because Nigeria is one of the nations I regarded as my heartbeat. God never lies and like the scripture I gave you the prayers of the saint preserved him.”

WuzupNaija recalls that the South African based Prophet, Samuel Akinbodunse, who is the General Overseer of Freedom for All Nations Outreach (FANO), made the ‘death prophesy’ in 2018. He had, at the time, asked Nigerians to seriously warn president Buhari against going for a second term because the Lord told him he will die before election day.

‘Please Nigerians, warn Buhari that he is going beyond his boundary, the Lord said his tenure is just for 4 years, if he tries to contest for the second term, before they vote he will die’’
