Actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she no longer has any desire to get married following her alleged separation from estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.

The Nollywood actress made the disclosure during a livestream conversation with content creator Jarvis, where she spoke about motherhood, family life and how her failed marriage has changed her views on relationships.

“For some reason, I have checked my mind out of getting married,” Regina said.

Although she stated that marriage is no longer a priority, the actress said she still hopes to expand her family and is particularly eager to have a daughter.

“I am going to have a girl. And I must have a girl child,” she stated.

Regina explained that raising a girl child carries a unique emotional experience for mothers, noting that daughters often maintain stronger emotional ties with their families even after getting married.

“I feel like motherhood starts better when you have a girl child,” she said.

“Before I had my first son, I said I was never going to have a girl child. Boys will grow up and be firm about having their own family. But girls will always remember home.”

During the livestream, the actress also opened up about missing her children, revealing that she has not seen them since 2025.

“Yeah , of course, I miss my children. But I know I will see them soon by God’s grace. I saw them last year. My first son will be six this year. My second will be four,” she said.

Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko got married in 2019, a relationship that sparked widespread public reactions because of the significant age gap between them, as the actress was 19 years old at the time.

Over the years, their marriage became one of Nigeria’s most discussed celebrity unions, especially following their highly publicised marital crisis in 2025.

The controversy intensified after allegations surfaced from Nwoko accusing the actress of substance abuse and claiming she needed rehabilitation.

Regina, however, denied the accusations and alleged that the senator subjected her to manipulation, psychological abuse and controlling behaviour.

The actress eventually left the marriage and has since continued to publicly affirm that she is single.
