Popular American actor and musician Tyrese Gibson has revealed that, despite being a wealthy celebrity, he prefers wearing fake bracelets and wristwatches.

In a recent interview with *Breakfast Club Power 105.1FM*, Tyrese openly shared his unusual choice.

When co-host Charlamagne asked Tyrese if his earrings were real, the *Fast and Furious* star simply replied, “No.”

Tyrese explained that he used to spend a lot of money on luxury items, but after losing or having them stolen, he realized it wasn’t worth the stress. The 45-year-old actor recalled a personal experience where he lost earrings worth $250,000, which caused both financial and emotional distress.

“If it all ends for me tomorrow, I never sold you on fake. None of this jewelry on me is real. Do not love me because of no diamonds. This bracelet looks real but it is $23 on Amazon. Nothing. Hear me out. It does not look fake right? The reality is reality. This sh*t is cunning. It is all fake. It is all superficial. It is nothing,” Tyrese said during the interview.

He continued, “You know why it is not real? Because I have lost so much of this shit. I done spent half a million dollars on a fucking watch. Call Jacob The Jeweler, ni**a. Call all of them. All the most famous, popular jewelers online, they all got my black Centurion (American Express card). That thing goes through. I am good.”

Tyrese also mentioned that he no longer worries about trying to impress others with expensive jewelry, saying, “I do not lose no sleep over trying to win the popularity contest showing up with all this jewelry that I am going to leave on the nightstand and have a housekeeper that says, ‘I don’t know!’ (laughs). I am sure you do not know where $250,000 earrings is at! I am sure you do not know. That motherf*cker would retire two weeks later.”

He concluded by saying, “I have never tried to win a popularity contest. And if I did, I have the contact of every celebrity, director, actor, rapper, you name it, they are all on my phone. I could be as hot as I wanna be.”
