Singer Simi has taken to social media with a post that reveals why she believes there is God.
The singer stated that her belief in God helps her get through certain things in life.
According to her, such never happens when she ignores God by depending on herself.
She tweeted: “Imagine being convinced there is no God lol. There is a God and He is mighty.
“I don’t understand many things. I have many questions. Some things I see in the Bible even and I’m like “I don’t get it.” And when I talk to God, I’m honest about that. But in all that – God is.
“I know a lot of people say belief in a higher power just helps us get through stuff and it’s all in our heads. If it was that easy, why is it that I can’t put that belief in my own self and strength and get the same result? Cos I’ve tried that.
“It’s not fight. Many people “believe” because they were raised to. I’m talking from my own personal experiences. Many people that claim to believe only say so when it benefits their self-centeredness. And on a level, we’re all hypocrites. But I want wisdom. More wisdom.”
